If stored in an airtight, opaque container, Little Red Tea House Matcha will remain fresh for about 12 months from the date it is ground. Once opened, we recommend that you consume it within 1-2 months.

Matcha has less caffeine than coffee (gram for gram), matcha provides a mellow energy boost, less jitters and less crash than coffee. Matcha contains an amino acid called L-theanine that slows the absorption of caffeine by the body and makes the effects of caffeine more gradual.
